In a recent initiative to foster academic excellence, Lucknow University released its annual inter-departmental rankings across various disciplines. This year, the Social Work Department took the lead among arts departments, securing the highest score of 149.8 points.

The ranking was awarded based on a meticulous evaluation framework, which assessed departments on multiple performance indicators, including research output, faculty achievements, student profiles, student accomplishments, and community outreach efforts. The ranking system is part of the university’s strategy to inspire healthy competition and encourage departments to continually enhance their academic and community engagement standards.
