The annual UP Mahotsav is now underway at Commercial Ground, located in Aliganj Sector E. The 17th edition of the event began with a vibrant inauguration ceremony recently and will run until January 13. This popular fair in Lucknow, offers a lively mix of shopping, food stalls, kids’ rides, and cultural activities, drawing enthusiastic crowds from across the city.

Winter clothing stalls featuring shawls and sweaters, dry fruit vendors, furniture exhibits, and other unique shopping options remain are among the key attractions of the event, making it popular among the locals. The Mahotsav also hosts regular cultural programs, including folk dance and music performances from various states, art exhibitions, and children’s activities.

The fair remains open daily from 9 AM to 11 PM, with cultural events scheduled from 5 - 9 PM The ticket charge for the UP Mahotsav is ₹40 per head, with free entry for children under five years of age.
