Arrangements have been made to set up an alternative traffic system here. According to this plan, the vehicular load will be allowed to travel from Badlapur to Koiripur via the four-lane road to pave connectivity between the two cities. This will ensure an easy commute between Lucknow and Varanasi despite the national highway closure. It may be noted here that the authorities have slated the maintenance work on the weekdays for they they witness the lowest traffic and as such, the least inconvenience.

Work at level 31B is said to stretch from 7 AM to 5 PM, to repair sleepers and track parameters at the crossing. Due to the poor conditions, the movement of trains here will be ensured by means of a harness, added reports.
