Lucknow Weather | Daytime haze, breezy evenings continue in the city; IMD signals delay in winter

The city's air quality continues to decline with the changing season.

With the seasonal shift in weather patterns, Lucknow is now experiencing pleasant, breezy evenings and mildly cooler nights, with minimum temperatures around the 20-degree mark. However, the city shows little sign of winter onset as daytime remains mostly sunny, with temperatures still leaning on the warmer side.

According to the IMD, this gradual change in temperatures during the approach of winter is influenced by northern currents and Western Disturbances, which have yet to settle across northern India fully.

Lucknow AQI touches 'Very Poor' mark; Residents advised to wear masks

Today, November 13, the temperature in Lucknow is expected to reach a maximum of 31°C, with a minimum of 17.2°C. A low-pressure zone over the state has led to hazy skies across the city, largely due to rising pollution levels that tend to settle in the atmosphere during this season.

As a result, Lucknow's AQI has remained high, reflecting a decline in air quality. The highest AQI recorded is 320 (very poor) in both Talkatora Industrial Area and Lalbagh, with moderate AQI levels in other parts of the city.

Due to the increase in pollution and the significant presence of particulate matter, residents are advised to wear masks when outdoors to reduce health risks.
