Lucknow is experiencing another bout of blazing temperatures exceeding 45 degree. These severe conditions have been prevalent for most of the month, making daily life challenging for the city residents.

Both Eastern and Western regions of Uttar Pradesh are reportedly experiencing similar hot and dry weather conditions. The IMD has been regularly issuing red alerts for severe heatwaves in most cities of the state. According to the meteorological center's latest weather report, rainfall is expected in UP starting from June 21.

Monsoon winds to hit UP this week!

Reportedly, temperatures exceeding 45°C, combined with strong gusts of warm winds reaching speeds of up to 27.8 km/h, have created an almost desert-like weather in the region.

According to the IMD's latest weather report, monsoon winds that arrived in Madhya Pradesh last week are expected to bring rainfall to UP starting this week. The forecast also indicates chances of thunderstorms or scattered showers in Lucknow, particularly between June 21 and 23.

With city-ites battling the persistent heatwave, the much-needed spell of rainfall is finally expected to bring some relief from the rising temperatures.
