The weather in Lucknow has taken another turn as the city experiences a sudden drop in temperature due to strong winds. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 23 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 9 degrees Celsius, indicating a significant drop in minimum temperature over the last three days.

Meteorological Department predictions:

Lucknow has been experiencing bright mornings with chilly winds in the past few days, but a sudden change in the weather has brought back the cold snap. Just four days ago, the maximum temperature in the city was recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, with a low of 15 degrees Celsius. However, strong winds blowing at a speed of 20 to 30 kilometres per hour have caused the temperature to plummet, leaving residents shivering once again.

The Meteorological Department has predicted that the maximum temperature for today (Wednesday) will be 25 degrees Celsius, with a minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius. This unexpected shift in temperature has caught many off guard, as just a week ago, people were seen strolling around the city without sweaters and jackets. Health experts warn that the sudden drop in temperature can lead to seasonal illnesses such as fever, cold, and cough, and advise residents to take necessary precautions to stay warm and healthy.

Precaution is always better than cure!

The fluctuating temperature in Lucknow has led to various medical issues, with many residents experiencing viral infection symptoms such as fever, cold, and cough. Experts warn that sudden changes in temperature can weaken the immune system, making people more susceptible to seasonal illnesses.

To stay safe and healthy, it is advisable to take necessary precautions, including wearing masks and maintaining hygiene. As the old saying goes, "prevention is better than cure," and by taking preventive measures, residents can protect themselves from falling sick.
