Lucknow's air quality has stayed poor for three days running now, with the AQI deteriorating to the 'very poor' category in certain areas. However, the city's average AQI was recorded at 242 on Sunday, also deemed 'very unhealthy'.

The air quality was especially bad in some areas like Aliganj and Talkatora, with the AQI recorded at 330 and 357, respectively. According to the meteorological department, the air quality is expected to stay the same in the upcoming days with the temperature dropping further.
