Flight operations at the Lucknow's CCSI airport have been disrupted due to a technical failure. The crane that malfunctioned, was being used in the Phase 2 expansion work of Lucknow airport's new Terminal 3 when it got stuck at a height above permissible limits. As a result, several flights flying to and from Lucknow have been diverted, delayed, or cancelled since morning.

Speaking to Knocksense, Sagar Purswani, who had booked a flight to Delhi, informed that the runway area where the crane is stuck was supposed to be cleared overnight. But due to technical failure, the crane is still perched above a permissible height, resulting in the disruptions.

He further informed that another flight he booked for 7 PM has also been cancelled. More updates on the disruptions are awaited as the administration is at work to remove the malfunctioned crane.
