Offering ease to the commuters, the Northern Railway Administration has resumed the premium car parking facility at Charbagh railway station in Lucknow after a long break due to COVID. People can now park their cars hassle-free at this designated spot by paying a fee. Read on to know more about this facility at Lucknow's Charbagh railway station.

Parking fee fixed at ₹20 for 2 hours

While this facility has been there for a while now, the contract to manage the parking wasn't renewed during COVID, leading to a mismanaged setup. Running under the supervision of railway employees for a year, this facility received a lot of complaints from the general public. In view of the same, with permission from Divisional Railway Manager SK Sapra, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rekha Sharma declared the parking free for all.

However, to ensure smooth operations and management of the parking the Railway administration has now fixed the rates of car parking at Charbagh railway station. According to officials, the parking will cost ₹20 for the first two hours and an extra ₹20 will be charged for every two hours after that.
