Specially-abled citizens can avail of yearly subscription cards for e-buses in Lucknow at ₹118

The Lucknow City Transport Service Ltd. will begin smart cards service for handicapped people, to make commuting in public transport easier for them. These yearly subscription cards for e-buses in Lucknow will be available at a cost of ₹118. With this, the card-holders can avail of unlimited rides in electronic, smart buses throughout the year, without having to buy a ticket each time.

Easy, economic public travel for specially-abled people 

Pallava Bose, MD, City Transport said that the specially-abled citizens will be able to travel at zero overhead cost, for one year with the ₹118 smart cards. Reportedly, the latest facility will be provided to individuals on the basis of their disabiltiy certificate, that shows at least 40 to 80 per cent dysfunction.

Meanwhile, for an individual who nurses over 80 per cent disability, an extra smart card for the attendant or care taker will be issued additionally.

The facility for issuing smart cards for differently-abled passengers will be available at Awadh Bus Station Kamta and Charbagh Bus Station. The specially-abled, their family or caretakers can reach the help desks here and get their annual travel smart card, promptly.
