In a bid to improve the implementation and delivery of investment proposals, and to provide ease of access to potential investors, Uttar Pradesh has now introduced a new online mechanism. It will facilitate the signing and monitoring of Memorandums of understanding (MoUs) over the web for the upcoming UP Global Investors Summit 2023.

Interested investors will be able to access this portal through the Invest UP website and the single window portal Nivesh Mitra.

Invest UP responsible for the tech management of portal

Furthermore, additional details about the functioning of the online portal were provided in the latest government order (GO) which was issued by UP chief secretary on November 4th.

As per the GO, the technical management and the tracking of the MoUs signed on the portal will be controlled by the Invest UP organization itself, which is the state government run investment promotion and facilitation agency. Incidentally, nodal officers will be appointed from each department who will be in charge for the direction of the follow-up procedure on the portal.
