Lok Sabha elections, the bedrock of India's democratic framework, are nearing in and the ECI is putting in efforts to make the voting experience a seamless one. For the same, the Election Commission of India rolled out a special Voter Helpline App (VHA) for the public recently.

The mobile application is armed with all election-related information and aims at "developing a culture of avid electoral engagement" and helping citizens make "informed and ethical ballot decisions". It provides a single point of service and information bank to voters across the country.

All you need to know about the Voter Helpline App

The digital platform offers services including electoral search, submission of online forms for registration of new voters or for shifting to a new constituency, registering and tracking of complaints related to electoral services, a comprehensive FAQ section, listed profiles of candidates, income statement, assets and criminal cases and provides general and bypoll results from 2024.

Moreover, the Electors Verification Programme also verifies voters via additional documents, rectifying any errors, altering photographs and linking a family, that lives in the same place, to one polling station.

Download the app to be a part of the general elections even before the polls begin! Get any voting-related queries or concerns answered via the VHA: Android/iOS.

To get all the latest content, download our mobile application. Available for both iOS & Android devices.
