Amid IMD's Yellow Alert, light drizzles expected today in parts of Mumbai; high humidity to linger

After a brief respite, hot and humid conditions are set to return.

Today, Mumbai is experiencing partly cloudy skies, matching Indian Meteorological Department's (IMD) earlier prediction. Now, the weather forecast points to cloudy skies with light rain or drizzle today in parts of Mumbai, with temperatures peaking at 36°C.

However, after a brief respite, hot and humid conditions are set to return! The IMD has issued a Yellow Alert for Mumbai, Thane, and Raigad until the weekend. Today, the high humidity at 72% will make it uncomfortable, so it is suggested to stay indoors, if and when possible. The temperatures are expected to range between 29°C and 36°C, with haze and wind speeds up to 11 km/h.

Overcast skies for the next 48 hours

The IMD forecasts overcast skies for the next 48 hours, with temperatures between 28°C and 36°C. Cloudy skies and light drizzle are anticipated later today. Humidity will remain high, and similar weather is expected to continue through the weekend and into early next week, with the possibility of a slight temperature dip.
