Bandra Fair 2025: Mumbai Police sets traffic rules from Sept 14 to 21

These rules will stay in force between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Mumbai Police have announced traffic restrictions around Mount Mary Church and Bandra West ahead of the annual Bandra Fair. Every year, lakhs of devotees from across India visit Mount Mary Church in Bandra West during the Nativity of Mother Mary. The visit is followed by the popular Bandra Fair, which is set up around the church, drawing large crowds. 

The following traffic rules will come into force from September 14 til September 21, between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Road closures and one-way traffic

  • Mount Mary Road: Closed to all vehicles except local residents with special passes and emergency vehicles.

  • Kane Road: One-way from Mount Mary Road to B.J. Road; no entry from B.J. Road, except for local pass holders.

  • Pereira Road: One-way from East to West; no entry from B.J. Road.

  • St. John Baptista Road: Closed to all vehicles except local pass holders.

  • Chapel Road to Veronika Road: Right turn at Carmel Church closed for all vehicles.

Parking restrictions

Temporary parking and halting ban for all vehicles (except for immediate passenger drop-off/pick-up) will be enforced on the following roads:
Mount Mary Road, Pereira Road, Kane Road, Hill Road (between St. Paul’s Road and Mehboob Studio Junction), Mount Carmel Road, Chapel Road, St. John Baptist Road, St. Sebastian Road, Rebello Road, Dr. Peter Dias Road, and St. Paul Road.
