BITS Pilani launches new design school in Mumbai; to offer programmes from academic year 2024-25

Admissions to begin from February 26, 2024.

In its latest press release, BITS Pilani announced the launch of BITS Design School (BITSDES) - a new design school in Mumbai. The design school will be opened in collaboration with the Aalto University in Finland and Melbourne's School of Design, RMIT.

The new school will be introducing a four-year Bachelor of Design (Honours) programme from the academic year 2024-25. This will also be followed by a Master's Degree Programme and Faculty Development Programme for design educators, which is expected to happen in the next two years.

Admission process to begin from February 26

Students who will become a part of the BITS Design School programmes will not only receive competency-based education in design based on today's business landscape but also benefit from the alumni network of BITS Pilani, which is spread across 55 countries.

Furthermore, the press release also stated that the admission process for the founding class of BITS Design School will kick off from February 26, 2024.
