Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai is taking significant steps to reshape business education with the upcoming launch of an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, scheduled for the 2025-26 academic year. Alongside, IIM Mumbai is also set to roll out two more courses -- online and weekend MBA programs, tailored for working professionals.
These initiatives are part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to expand its educational offerings and foster entrepreneurial growth.
To support these initiatives, IIM Mumbai is also launching an in-house incubation centre, which is expected to become fully operational by February 2025. The centre, which has been set up at a cost of ₹50 lakh, will assist both students and external innovators in bringing their ideas to life. Additionally, IIM Mumbai is introducing online and weekend MBA programs aimed at working professionals, allowing them to earn a degree while balancing their careers.
The institute’s growing prominence has also been reflected in its placement cycle, with 280 students already placed and average salary packages soaring to ₹35-36 lakh annually.
In another exciting development, IIM Mumbai has launched the 5th phase of Yuva Sangam, a cultural exchange program under the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' initiative. The aim is to foster national integration through student interactions between Maharashtra and Odisha.
