According to a statement by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), several areas in the city's western suburbs will face a 100% water cut for 24 hours. These will include areas in Kandivali, Goregaon, and Malad, which will experience a complete water cut between 10 AM on April 23 to 10 AM on April 24.

The reason behind this water cut is the replacement of the existing 600 mm diameter pipeline with a 900 mm diameter pipeline by the BMC. During this work in undertaken, the supply in the above-mentioned regions will be cut to avoid water loss.
