Knocksense Shorts | Tata Power installs 150 EV charging stations in Mumbai

These stations will be powered by renewable/clean sources of energy

One of the largest car manufacturers announced the successful installation of 150 Green Energy-Powered EV charging stations across Mumbai residential societies, malls, commercial complexes and fuel pumps. Tata Power’s Be Green Mission believes in ensuring a greener and more sustainable planet. To encourage people to adopt clean and green solutions in daily life, Tata Power has been consistently working in the field of green energy.

As per the reports, power at these charging stations will be sourced by renewable options like wind, solar, and hydropower energy. Some other initiatives of Tata Power include green power for over 17,000 premium tariff customers and the installation of solar rooftops in several buildings in Mumbai.

Along with this, Tata Power has also collaborated with the National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO), Maharashtra to install up to 5,000 EV charging points across Maharashtra.
