Mumbai Half Marathon 2022 to kick off from Bandra Kurla Complex on Sunday

Over 13,500 participants will compete in three categories of the Mumbai Half Marathon.

Cheers and all the best to all the fitness enthusiasts participating in the renowned Mumbai Half Marathon 2022. After a two-year COVID induced hiatus, the much-awaited Mumbai Half Marathon will kick off on Sunday from Bandra Kurla Complex. Over 13,500 participants will compete in three categories of the Mumbai Half Marathon.

A treat for fitness enthusiast 

Over 4,000 runners are scheduled to take part in the 21k challenge, 7,000 in 10k and 2,500 runners in the 5k challenge. The half-marathon will start and finish at the BKC and will comprise two loops of 10k each through the interior roads of the complex.

“Since the pandemic began, the focus on fitness has increased manifold, and people have realized the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle,” said Sachin Tendulkar who will also flag off the race from BKC.

Reportedly, the 21k challenge of the half-marathon will begin at 5:15 AM, the 10k run will kick off at 6:20 AM and the 5k at 8:00 AM. Additionally, various corporate teams and over 2,000 men from the Indian Navy will participate in this fifth edition of the Mumbai Half Marathon.
