Western and urban Lines will remain unaffected.

Mumbai local train commuters, take note! A mega block on Sunday, December 1, 2024, will impact services on the Central, Harbour, and Trans-Harbour Lines as the Railway Administration undertakes crucial engineering and maintenance work. Nevertheless, there will be no block on the Western Line for local trains.

On the Central line, a block between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Vidyavihar will affect slow services from 10:55 AM to 3:25 PM. Trains will be diverted to fast routes with selective stops. Similarly, Harbour Line services between Panvel and Vashi will halt from 11:05 AM to 4:05 PM, with cancellations on the Panvel-CSMT route during this period. TransHarbour services between Panvel and Thane will also remain suspended.

To ease the disruption, special trains will run between Mumbai and Vashi, while alternate services will operate on the TransHarbour and Port lines.

The Central Railway Administration has urged passengers to co-operate as these maintenance works are crucial for improving infrastructure and safety across the network.
