Mumbai records 3rd highest annual price growth in luxury housing among APAC cities

Mumbai is now the 14th most expensive APAC prime residential market.

Over the last year, Mumbai has registered the 3rd highest annual price growth in the luxury housing segment among cities in the Asia Pacific region. Registering an year-on-year price growth of 11.5% in luxury property prices, Maximum City has now become the 14th most expensive APAC prime residential market.

The average property pricing in Mumbai is $953 per sq ft (as of Q3 of 2024), according to the APAC report. Furthermore, a sum of $1 million can get 103 sq m of luxury real estate in Mumbai. The report again identified India as one of the emerging markets in the region, alongside Vietnam and Thailand.
