The application process will now run on a digital medium, eliminating the need to visit the RTO. If they achieve the eligible passing 60% marks, a learner's license will be issued. A statement circulated by the transport department read that people do not need to visit the RTO for the document verification for it will be authenticated through the Aadhar Identity. This infers that applicants can easily download and print this form, from the comfort of their homes.

The statement further highlighted that the directorate has already shifted several good permits services to the online construct. This, and the new service re-engineering, has been implemented for the citizens to cater government services to people's doorstep. Additionally, it has simplified the existing procedure, providing quick and hassle-free solutions.
