The government has now made it mandatory to update details, which could be done via both online and offline modes till June 15.

If you haven't updated information on your Aadhaar card in the past 10 years, the government has now made it mandatory to re-verify or alter any details if required. This could be done through both online and offline modes till June 15.

The government of India has made it possible for people across the country to update changes to their Aadhaar Unique Identification (UID) through the official websites myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in or https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/. However, there is a fee of ₹50 for updating any demographic information, including name or address.

Apart from the online mode, people can also visit any of the Aadhaar centres in their respective cit for updating changes. People will also be required to pay ₹50 while registering changes through offline mode at Aadhaar centres.
