Indore is all set to take a leap towards global connectivity, with Air India Express launching a direct flight to Bangkok in March 2025. This new route will not only connect Indore to Thailand but also open travel options to Canada and the US. Air India Express plans to connect the Bangkok flight with international airlines such as Air Canada and United Airlines.
Currently, flights from Indore to Bangkok require nearly 15 hours layovers in Mumbai or Delhi. The new direct flight will reduce transit time, and passengers heading to Canada or the US can undergo all inspections at Indore Airport. Thailand has already granted approval for the service.

Moreover, plans for further international connectivity are underway, with proposals for direct flights to Singapore. In addition to international routes, two new direct flights from Indore to Kolkata will begin in December, operated by Indigo and Air India Express. Starting January 15, 2025, a direct flight to Hyderabad will also be launched by Air India Express.
