Madhya Pradesh’s confirmed covid tally is presently marked at 1,74,091 and the state has witnessed 1,63,250 recoveries till date. MP has also witnessed 2,987 deaths so far. Reportedly, in the month of October, the state’s capital city noted maximum number of patients being discharged and going back home since the time the pandemic befell the nation. Over 11,000 covid victims in Indore, won the battle against the contagious virus last month and it is being credited to increased awareness and testing rates.
30,16,456 tests conducted in MP; Test Positivity Rate at 5.7%
As per source, 30,16,456 tests have been conducted in MP which has pushed the Test Positivity Rate to 5.7% as yet. For every 10 lakh people in Madhya Pradesh, ~37,001 samples were tested and in the past one week, the number of new infections has grown by an average of 0.4% every day, which is substantially lower than the initial phases.
Till date, the number of confirmed corona patients in Indore is pegged at 34,308 while 31,531 have recovered and 2,094 cases are still active. The city also observed 683 fatalities. Within the span of 24 hours, 52 corona infected citizens were brought under notice in Indore. Following the capital’s covid score, Bhopal and Jabalpur are currently standing at the second and the third position respectively, in the overall count of corona patients. According to sources, the decline in positivity rates implies that a major part of the population has developed immunity against the virus.
