In a proactive move against rising cyber crimes, Indore Police launched the ‘CyberCOP’ mobile phone application in collaboration with the CitizenCOP Foundation on Tuesday.
They highlighted the application’s role in providing real-time updates on cyber crimes and relevant online regulations. Emphasizing the goal of transforming every individual into a cyber-cop, they encouraged users to stay informed and raise awareness about cyber threats within their circles.
Applauding the initiative, authorities have underscored the app’s utility in teaching self-protection techniques and preventing online fraud. ‘CyberCOP’ not only equips users with knowledge about cyber crimes but also serves as a tool for educating the public on crucial aspects of cyber security.
