Asia’s largest park, the Janeshwar Mishra Park, could be the venue for your next celebration

No other green space comes close to the grandeur of the legendary Janeshwar Mishra Park in Lucknow. Beyond its sprawling greenery, the park has also played host to some of the city’s most iconic cultural events, creating countless memorable moments and grand occasions for Lucknowites.

Also, when it comes to celebrations and family functions, events like these have unfolded on these grounds for years. For a long stretch, though, that privilege seemed guarded by an invisible velvet rope. Securing a booking often meant knowing the right people, and for most families, that door simply never opened. However, that’s not the case anymore.

Located right inside Gate 5 of Janeshwar Mishra Park, the Venetian Garden is built precisely for such occasions. Three lawns, each varying in size and offering its own character and amenities, give hosts the flexibility to choose a setting that fits the scale and mood of their event, whether it’s an intimate gathering or a full-blown wedding with hundreds of guests. Set against the backdrop of the park’s lush greenery, the Venetian Garden can turn an ordinary function into an occasion guests are likely to remember.

For Celebrations That Deserve To Go Big

The sprawling space brings together three distinct lawns, each designed around a different kind of celebration. While the spaces vary in scale, setting and amenities, together they offer enough flexibility to make everything from a lavish wedding to a close-knit family gathering feel right at home.

Of the three, Shivansh Lawn is where the scale of a celebration can truly take centre stage. Spread across nearly 1 lakh sq ft, the expansive lawn can accommodate around 4,000 to 5,000 guests, with a 16,000 sq ft German hangar adding a substantial covered space. The sheer size of the grounds also leaves plenty of scope for grand decor, larger backdrops and elaborate event setups, making it well suited for occasions where going big is very much part of the plan.

Then there is Sham-e-Awadh, which takes a more intimate route, letting the greenery around it become part of the occasion. Surrounded by foliage and lined with pine trees, the space can accommodate around 1,000 guests and features a 7,500 sq ft German hangar. With its natural surroundings providing much of the visual charm, the lawn lends itself well to celebrations where elaborate decor can take a backseat to a more organic and relaxed setting.

For Celebrations That Call For A More Personal Touch

Pine Valley sits somewhere between an intimate gathering and a larger social affair. Spread across 40,000 sq ft, it combines an air-conditioned hall of 4,000 sq. ft. with an open outdoor space, offering flexibility for birthdays, corporate events, receptions and other smaller celebrations. With a capacity of around 700 to 800 guests, it keeps things relatively compact while still leaving ample room for a lively gathering.

What makes the space particularly charming, however, is its outdoor setting. Small trees, softly lit with aesthetic outdoor lighting, create an almost fairytale-like atmosphere, making it especially suited for intimate gatherings, outdoor dinners and evening celebrations. The lawn is also highly decor-friendly, giving hosts plenty of scope to personalise the setting without having to work around an overly elaborate existing setup.

With affordable tariffs across different seasons, Pine Valley offers a more accessible way to host everything from bachelorette parties and birthday celebrations to receptions and corporate events, while still giving the occasion the distinct charm of being set within Janeshwar Mishra Park.

More Space, More Freedom, More Reasons To Celebrate

If you have been looking for a celebration venue that feels grand without the usual constraints of hosting one in the middle of the city, Venetian Garden might just fit the bill. With multiple lawns, distinct settings and enough room to shape the space around your occasion, it gives you the flexibility to celebrate your way, right in the heart of Lucknow. The best part about the location is that it sits within the city’s prime belt while remaining relatively aloof from residential colonies, meaning fewer restrictions and more scope to make your celebration as grand as you envision it. The spot also offers easy accessibility from different parts of the city, along with ample parking space for guests.

Catering and food are pretty sorted too. Through tie-ups with Venetian Garden, you can choose from a curated list of available caterers and customise your menu according to the occasion. The expansive green spaces also leave plenty of room for fire shows and uninterrupted music, keeping the celebrations lively well into the evening.

So, whether it is a wedding, reception, birthday, corporate gathering or a night you simply want to make memorable, Venetian Garden gives you the space and flexibility to pull it off. Ready to plan your celebration? Head to Venetian Garden at Gate 5 of Janeshwar Mishra Park and explore the lawns to find the one that fits your occasion best.
