In a significant move to further drive healthcare advancements in India, IIT Kanpur has joined forces with Blockchain For Impact (BFI), a catalyst funding organization within the blockchain industry.

This collaboration specifically targets the promotion of healthcare-oriented innovations. BFI has committed a substantial funding amount of $150,000 over three years to support new innovations and startups at IIT Kanpur's Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC).

The MoU was signed virtually on April 16 by Prof. Kantesh Balani of IIT Kanpur and Dr. Gaurav Singh, CEO of BFI. IIT Kanpur has a history of backing numerous healthcare startups through its incubation cell. With this partnership, both parties aim to expedite impactful solutions in biomedical research, further enhancing India's healthcare landscape.
