Kanpurites will soon be able to experience water sports activities at the Ganga Barrage Boat Club which is all set to open this November. The folks of the city have been stirred about the public run of the boat club ever since the commencement of the trials, which kicked off back in June, this year.
Reportedly, the Kanpur Boat Club will be a major hub for adventure sports in the city and will feature activities including kayaking, canoeing, motor boating, rowing and lots more. The boat club will also host several water festivals including state/national-level boating competitions.
The club is expected to open gates for the public on the first week of November and the entry fee is yet to be announced.
