To the delight of daily air passengers, we’ve got some thrilling news. Akasa Air has now started direct flights from Lucknow to Goa and Ahmedabad. In the past few months, authorities have hosted a massive daily passenger count of 18,000 passengers in over 128 flights (domestic and international) at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport (CCSIA- Lucknow Airport). The initiative to start new daily and direct flights to these commercial locations will provide better commute options to travellers.

With Akasa Air starting operations from CCSIA to Goa’s Manohar International Airport, the agency will now connect 24 domestic destination to Lucknow. Besides, Air Asia and IndiGo are other airlines connecting Lucknow with Goa. Akasa Air is also launching a new flight connecting Lucknow with Ahmedabad, taking their weekly departures from the airport up to 35.
Reportedly, the daily non-stop flight from Lucknow Airport to Goa will depart at 02:14 P.M, and for Ahmedabad at 09:00 P.M.
Further, jumping from milestone to another, Lucknow Airport has also succeeded in adding three airlines – Air Asia India, Akasa Air, and Thai Air Asia, to start operations from Uttar Pradesh capital. In the first two fruitful months of 2023, CCSIA recorded nearly 1.04 million passenger movements, including 136,880 international and nearly 9.03 lakh domestic passengers.
