Nestled here at the One Awadh Mall, Barcelos obeys the fast-lane clamour of culinary demands by serving huge portions of delectable food which go straight to the heart!
Washed with various incandescent lights hanging from the ceiling to textured flooring and big glass windows overlooking the mall’s food court, Barcelos emits the theme of its roots to the fullest! The playful lighting coupled with the artefacts displayed around the areas, adds up to the coziness of this restro. The interiors of the restaurant is cloaked with vibrant graffiti and murals on the walls which makes Barcelos just too Instagrammy!
Although it’s a chicken lover’s hub because they have the most firangi chicken dishes ever, they are also loaded with vegetarian options which are a must-try even for meat buffs. Each dish comes with their dips, sauces and sides which makes the food even more drool-worthy!

What We Feasted On?
Barcelos has introduced gourmet innovations in the city and they have truly redefined burgers by adding their unique styles and textures! The burgers here are of different colours and they have added their own take to it- most popular being the the Black Burger! The taste of their garlic bread, salads and quesadillas are like no other in the city and this is where you need to head over, in case your palate is craving such delicacies.
We tried their zingy-juicy Espetadas which is a delicacy from the Madeira Islands and is served in a fancy-schmancy style. Made of skewered chicken thighs alternated with onions and bell-peppers, this is served in a hanging metal skewer with a side of rice, thick gravy and sauteed vegetables!
The Family Pack is another favourite which is basically one whole grilled Veri Peri chicken served with steaming soup, Portuguese rice and homemade gravy. This comes an a huge portion and is enough for 2-3 people- an absolute gem for chicken hoggers!
Their veg Black Burger actually scored high on the taste quotient- fresh black buns loaded with a hearty patty, drippin’ with mayo lapped within tomatoes and lettuce! The veg Slider’s Platter was cute AF and we couldn’t stop clicking it. There were 4 mini burgers with peri mayo, served with crispy french fries and freshly churned corn-peas salad!
The portions were absolutely filling and honestly, it is worth the cost- one dish serves minimum of 2-3 people so it isn’t really that expensive!
