In an effort to revive the sinking economic conditions in Lucknow, the officials have decided to tweak the present rules once again. Earlier this week, it was decided that the weekend lockdown scheme will be entirely done away with so that businesses can operate regularly as before. Now the authorities have determined that bars and restaurants can stay open in Lucknow till 11 PM and markets around the city have been granted permission to be functional till 10 PM.
35,121 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lucknow
Even though cases are on a steady rise in the city, the officials are placing these regulations to bolster the financial situation of the people who’ve lost their jobs or are suffering from various business related losses due to this pandemic. Lucknow’s confirmed Covid count has surpassed 35,000 and the city has observed 469 deaths till date. But it is to be noted that the containment zones in Lucknow, will be excluded from these changes and will remain tightly sealed to curtail the spread of this contagious virus.
All the public places are being thoroughly sanitised on a daily basis and are being monitored closely to contain the spread of the virus. According to reports released by the Centre- cinemas, colleges, swimming pools and similar public places will remain shut at least till September end.
