Alambagh is quite a cool pocket of Lucknow, and honestly, only those who live around here truly know it! With Singar Nagar being one of the area’s key travel hubs and landmarks, we thought, why not tell the rest of the city what all Alambagh has to offer? From buzzing cafés and food joints to legendary shopping lanes and malls, from green parks and old monuments to a little industrial grit (and traffic, of course), this neighbourhood is packed with experiences. So here’s a list of 7 things to do around Singar Nagar that’ll keep you entertained, well-fed, sorted and satisfied.

Grand memorial parks & peaceful green escapes

  • Manyawar Kanshiram Smarak (Alambagh): Manyawar Kanshiram Smarak is a prominent memorial complex located on Jail Road in Alambagh, built in honour of Kanshi Ram, founder of the Bahujan Samaj Party. The site is known for its massive sandstone dome and grand architectural layout.

  • Baudh Vihar Shanti Upvan (Alambagh): A striking architectural landmark on Jail Road, this grand memorial complex features a massive domed structure dedicated to Kanshi Ram.

  • Tulsi Park (Alambagh): Tulsi Park features trimmed lawns, basic walking tracks and shaded seating areas. While smaller in scale compared to larger city parks, it is commonly used for morning walks, light exercise and evening relaxation.

  • Samar Vihaar Park (Singar Nagar): A small neighbourhood park, primarily used by nearby residents for morning walks and evening relaxation. It features green lawns and open space, serving as a convenient spot for visitors.

Thrilling & family-friendly entertainment spots

  • Dream World Amusement Park (Kanpur Road): A lively amusement park offering roller coasters, Ferris wheels, go-karting, a zipline and various thrilling rides. It’s especially popular with families and groups looking for a budget-friendly day of excitement. The small food court inside makes it a complete outing.

  • Masti Zone Gaming Arena (Phoenix United Mall, Kanpur Road): An indoor entertainment hub packed with arcade games, VR experiences, bowling lanes, bumper cars and a trampoline park. Ideal for birthday parties, friend hangouts or sibling fun days.

  • Kidzania Lucknow (Adarsh Nagar, Alambagh): An imaginative indoor role-play city designed for children. Kids can explore real-world professions like pilots, doctors and firefighters in a safe, engaging setup.

  • Kangaroo Trampoline Park (Transport Nagar): An indoor adventure arena, featuring interconnected trampolines, foam pits, arcade games and dedicated play zones for children and adults. The venue is popular for birthday parties and group outings too.

Modern shopping & leisure destinations

  • Phoenix United Mall (Kanpur Road): United Mall is well-known lifestyle mall, housing over 90 national and international retail brands. The mall also features a six-screen PVR multiplex and a dedicated food court with fast-food chains and casual dining outlets.

  • Anand Nagar Market (Barha Road): This market consists of small retail shops offering affordable clothing, footwear, accessories, groceries and daily-use items.

  • Inderlok Market (Vijay Nagar, Krishna Nagar): Inderlok Market is a compact local market. It includes small shops selling garments, household goods, footwear and general provisions. The market serves surrounding residential colonies.

Iconic & flavour-packed food destinations to try

  • Tunday Kababi (Alambagh): A true Lucknow culinary institution, famous for its melt-in-the-mouth galouti kebabs and aromatic biryani.
