The first ‘Made in India’ nuclear reactor, at the Kakrapar Atomic Power Project in Gujarat begun commercial operations on Friday. As of now, the 700 MW nuclear reactor has started operating at 90% of its total power, according to a senior official at KAPP.
GST collection in India up by 3% in June
India’s GST collection in the month of June went up by 3% as compared to the numbers in May, to reach ₹1.61 lakh crore. On an year-over-year basis, the collection has registered an increase of 12%. Higher demand for goods and boost in the service sector has been identified as major reasons.
