IndiGo Airlines is set to introduce direct flights between Lucknow and Srinagar for the first time, starting March 30, 2025. This new route is expected to benefit travellers, especially ahead of the summer vacation season. Srinagar remains a popular summer destination for residents seeking respite from the heat, and the direct connection is anticipated to boost tourism in the region.
The daily flight will have a duration of 1 hour and 55 minutes. Additionally, with IndiGo’s reputation for economical fares, ticket prices on this route are expected to remain budget-friendly.
Announcing the new route, Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo, said, “With this addition, IndiGo now operates over 230 flights from Lucknow, connecting to 17 domestic and three international destinations. This new route will further enhance opportunities for tourism and business.”
