Lucknow's District Magistrate, Suryapal Gangwar, has issued a directive for schools to shift to online operations amid the ongoing cold wave. Applicable to both public and private schools up to class 12, the directive encourages prioritizing online classes where possible.
For physical classes, sessions are restricted to 10 AM to 3 PM, and schools have been instructed to make proper arrangements to safeguard students against the cold. The order also emphasizes that students must not participate in outdoor activities during cold hours, and wear preoper winter uniform.
