With the upcoming month of Jyestha in the Hindu Calendar, Lucknow is gearing up to host Bada Mangal, starting this Tuesday. This unique celebration features bhandaras across the city, and the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) has made extensive arrangements to ensure a smooth event.
Organizers are now required to register their bhandara pandals with the LMC to facilitate timely waste collection and disposal, helping to keep the city clean.
Register your Bhandara using the Lucknow One app
To make the registration process convenient, organizers can now register their bhandaras using the Lucknow One app on their mobile phones or by calling LMC at 1533, 9219902911, 9219902912, 9219902913, or 9219902914. During registration, organizers need to provide their name, contact number, alternative contact information, the exact location of their bhandara, and an estimated number of people to be served.
Additionally, LMC has urged both organizers and the public to avoid using polythene bags, littering, and wasting food to ensure an environmentally friendly celebration.
