Contrary to IMD’s earlier forecast of a temperature drop starting today, Lucknow’s weather has remained stable, offering pleasant daytime conditions. On Sunday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 25°C and a minimum of 9°C, both slightly above the seasonal average. The day was marked by sunshine, while the late night hours brought moderate fog and gusty winds.
Similar weather conditions are expected to persist over the next 2-3 days. However, IMD still anticipates rainfall between December 27 and 28, potentially followed by a significant drop in temperatures.
Air quality, on the other hand, continues to be a pressing issue—The lack of strong winds has led to a spike in air pollution, with the maximum AQI recorded at 330, which falls in the ‘Very Poor’ category.
