Keeping in mind the upsurge of festive passenger load, Indian Railways has announced the launch of several special trains from Mumbai to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Reportedly, the festive fleet will map through Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat too, easing travel for the locals here as well. Check the full schedule of new trains & timings here:

The Indian Railways has reportedly approved the schedule of the special trains to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar from Mumbai to meet the spurred festive demands. According to a senior official, two trains of this new fleet will originate from Mumbai towards Banaras in UP and Bhagalpur in Bihar. Both services will be operated between October 27 and November 17, the official added. Here are the schedule and timings:
Train number 09183 Mumbai Central- Banaras festive special train will run as an 11 AM weekly service every Wednesday from Mumbai Central Terminus (MCT). The train will cruise through Madhya Pradesh, reaching Ratlam at 9 AM on Thursday and finally terminating in Banaras at 2 PM on Friday. The return journey will be mapped by Train number 09184 from Banaras, at 7:30 PM every Friday. This service will reach Ratlam at 8:15 PM on Saturday and finally stop at MCT at 7:20 AM on Sunday.
The Bihar bound train, 09185 Mumbai Central-Bhagalpur festive special train will depart from MCT at 11:05 AM, every Saturday and reach Bhagalpur at 10 AM on Monday. This service will run from October 30 to November 20, added reports. Twin service, 09186 Bhagalpur-Mumbai Central festive special train will ferry the return journey. It will leave from Bhagalpur every Tuesday at 5:00 AM and terminate in Mumbai at 7:20 AM on Thursdays.
As per the route, both trains will make halts at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Achhnera, Mathura, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Barabanki, Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Kaptanganj, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Bapudham Motihari, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni, Begusarai, Munger and Sultanganj stations, during transit, amplifying overall connectivity.
