In an attempt to make medical tests and disability certificates more accessible for differently abled children, the govt is planning to organize medical assessment camps in UP for special children in the state’s secondary schools. These camps will assess medical disabilities in children and issue the necessary certificates to them.
Camps will be held in all 886 blocks in UP

The medical assessment camps for differently-abled children in UP will be held in all districts, covering all 886 blocks in UP. In this regard, each district has been directed by the State Project Director to identify the venue and dates of these camps by June 30. The last date for completion for the camps has been set as August 30.
Furthermore, the team of doctors for these medical camps in UP will consist of an ENT surgeon, one eye specialist, and a psychiatrist/psychologist, along with an orthopaedic surgeon. Directions have also been given to each district to have, at least, 50 children in each camp who do not have disability certificates yet.
