What is Jouzi Halwa?

This dish perfectly blends in the spirit of winters along with some unusual ingredients. The reason the dish is only available in a few cities is that it uses wheat grain, which grows only in a few places in the winter.
The halwa is prepared by mixing sprouted wheat in simmered milk. That is followed by putting in Khoya into the mixture and then swirling it around to get the desired consistency. The halwa is just thick enough to melt in your mouth and leave a lasting taste. After that, sugar and saffron is added to the mixture, which is then mixed and left to roast and let the ingredients blend in with one another.
The halwa is filled with a bunch of ingredients that make it one of the best things you can have this winter. To top it off, it is stuffed with dry fruits to spread the warmth within you. The dry fruits give it a slightly crunchy flavour that blends well with the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the halwa itself.
