The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rainfall and lightning warning for Lucknow and 41 other districts, effective until Friday. While rain has already begun in some parts of the state, Lucknow is expected to experience light to moderate showers throughout the day.
Yesterday, the city witnessed intense rainfall and lightning strikes, accompanied by strong winds that created stormy conditions. This brought temperatures below normal, offering relief from the humidity, last week.
Today, Lucknow recorded a minimum temperature of 25.33°C, with the maximum expected to reach 30.02°C. Winds are blowing at 20-25 kilometers per hour, adding to the pleasant weather. The IMD has also forecast continued rainfall over the next two to three days and issued a yellow alert for the city.
