The ambitious player began his training before the age of 10 and played the captain of the Uttar Pradesh Under-15 team. Later, he went to play for the Under-17, under-19, Under-22 and Under-25 tournaments. Taking a big leap in his bright career, Dixit found a place in the Uttar Pradesh team for the Ranji Trophy in 2015-16. Besides, he also participated in the one-dayers from UP in the 2014-15 session.
Adding to his bag of notable accomplishments, the cricketer marked his participation in the Ranji Trophy 2018-19, from a railways team. Further, he has also shown his skills and capabilities at the Vijay Hazare Trophy in its 2018-19 event.
