Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has now become India's first airport to receive Level 4 customer experience accreditation from ACI.

Allegedly, the airport's improved accreditation status is said to result from its heightened focus on customer satisfaction, efficient management and the provision of enhanced comfort and convenience to travellers.

Mumbai Airport which is managed by the Adani group, has reportedly dedicated substantial efforts to introduce a range of improvements. These include: optimising procedures, offering valet parking services, implementing effective security screening with electronic gates, upgrading navigation signage, utilising video analytics to manage passenger processing wait times, and providing real-time flight information through digital displays, among other enhancements.
