Since its inception on June 8, 2014, the metro corridor has consistently provided efficient travel access on this route. Operating 408 trips daily, the Mumbai Metro One caters to over 4.6 lakh commuters on weekdays, establishing itself as a crucial transportation link for the city’s residents.
Metro line 1, also known as the ‘Blue Line 1’, stands out as the most popularly traversed corridor, serving as a convenient and dependable commuting alternative along the congested Andheri-Kurla route. This vital metro connection not only alleviates road congestion but also facilitates seamless interchange opportunities with suburban stations, connecting to Ghatkopar on the Central Railway and Andheri on the Western Railway.
