Mumbai woke up to cloudy skies and light drizzles, accompanied by mild breeze today. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted an increase in cloud cover by the afternoon or evening, with moderate rainfall across Mumbai, its suburbs, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
Looking ahead, IMD anticipates a monsoon comeback in Mumbai and its neighbouring districts this week, with a surge in rainfall starting from June 19-20. According to officials, this year monsoon is expected to bring a sufficient amount of rain, indicating a better season than usual.

Temperature forecast for the week ahead:
As per reports, June 18 will bring moderate rainfall, with temperature spanning between 27°C and 33°C. Meanwhile, brace for heavy downpour on June 19, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 32°C.
Additionally, from June 20 to June 21, moderate rain will continue, with temperatures remaining steady at 25 to 32°C. On June 22 and June 23, rain will persist, and temperatures will range from 24°C to 31°C.
