Aqua Line: Mumbai’s first underground metro

The Aqua Line is Mumbai’s first fully underground metro corridor, offering improved connectivity and a modern commuting experience.
For context:

  • Line 1: Versova–Andheri–Ghatkopar (Elevated)

  • Line 2A: Dahisar East–Andheri West (Elevated, 18.6 km)

  • Line 7 (Red Line): Dahisar East–Andheri East (Elevated, 16.5 km)

The ONDC integration aims to simplify ticketing and create a uniform digital experience across all key metro corridors. Meanwhile, CIDCO has introduced QR code-based paper tickets for Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1, beginning at Belapur Metro Station.
