Mumbai temperatures to reach up to 36°C, in the coming week; no rain in sight!

Last week, Maharashtra faced 'severe' heatwave-like conditions.

Mumbai, brace yourself for scorching heat in the upcoming days. Despite partly cloudy skies, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that the maximum temperature in Mumbai will reach up to 36°C in the next week. Last week, IMD issued a yellow alert for 'severe' heatwave conditions in Maharashtra, as the day temperatures skyrocketed to 40-42°C in the Marathawada and Vidarbha regions.

Amid the hot weather, Mumbaikars are eagerly anticipating rain, which could provide them with relief from the scorching heat. However, as per the IMD, it seems to be absent from the immediate forecast.

This week, from April 11 to 17, according to the IMD's weather prediction for the Mumbai-Santacruz region, the maximum temperature will range between 32°C-36°C, while the minimum temperature is predicted hover around 24°C-26°C.
