Exam centres of Kanpur's CSJMU to be monitored by observers & tech experts to prevent cheating

The exam centres at Kanpur's Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University will now be monitored by a technical expert, apart from the observer. While this will be applicable for sensitive centres, a control room has been set up from where a team of experts shall monitor more than 450 exam centres populated by almost 4 lakh students. This decision has been taken by the university's administration after a recent case of mass cheating was anonymously reported during the final exams.

45 new courses introduced by Kanpur's CSJMU at PG & UG levels; check list here!

In this academic session, Kanpur's Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is commencing 45 new courses with the aim of making students self-dependent and employable. These courses range from a masters degree in Computer Science to certifications as a swimming pool lifeguard and yoga gym trainer. New masters, PG diploma courses and certifications have been introduced that shall take the tally of the number of courses taught at CSJMU to 112, from 67.

In a first, Class 10 graduates can take admission in certificate courses by Kanpur's CSJMU

In a first in the city, Kanpur's Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University is introducing certificate courses that can be taken up right after class 10. These courses are being introduced by the University's Fine Arts Department in the field of Textile Design and Applied Arts, among others. Further, the course structure has been designed in a manner that will enhance the prospects of graduates in the job market.

Kanpur's Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University slates term-end examinations from July 16

The progression of the activities at the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is scaling in equivalence to the decelerating force of the COVID infection. The varsity's examination committee on Thursday, took a call regarding assessments and late on the same night, an admission committee meeting was held, in favour to begin the university application procedure from June 14. However, reports highlight that the final decision in this regard will be taken in an Executive Council on Monday.
