Special health camps to ramp up COVID-19 vaccination in Jaipur from October 2

Pink City Jaipur has buckled up to host special health camps on October 2 to pace up the COVID-19 vaccination drive here. The provisional health sites will come up across urban and rural regions in the district under the banner of the 'Prashasan Shehron ke Sang' and'Prashasan Gaon ke Sang' programmes, read reports. Besides, all patients in Jaipur will be able to enjoy the benefit of the free medicine scheme at the primary health centre in the city, to avail of zero-cost drugs.

In a first since April '20, Jaipur reports 0 new COVID cases in the past 48 hours!

In a strong recovery trend, Jaipur has recorded zero fresh COVID cases for two consecutive days on Thursday, for the first time since April 2020. While the city continues to nurse 30 active patients, the highest number across all Rajasthan districts, it also holds the record of yielding maximum recoveries in the state. Besides, Jaipur has not reported even a single COVID death since June, this year.

Immunity drive paces in Jaipur as state receives 4.6 lakh vaccination doses on Monday

The state of Rajasthan replenished its vaccine stocks with the arrival of a new consignment on Monday, consisting of about 4.6 lakh vaccine doses. With this, the state has received around 49 lakh vaccine doses in July, actively pushing its vaccination campaign across all districts. With the arrival of the new consignment, the immunity programme in Jaipur has also been scaled. Until now up to 32,97,240 doses have been administered in the capital city.

More than 70 centres to administer COVID vaccine in Jaipur from today onwards

After a gap of two days, Rajasthan's vaccination campaign has gained momentum once again. On Monday, the state received a consignment of 8.35 lakh Covishield doses, which is enough for a successful 4-day immunity drive, as per reports. The doses were delivered across several major districts in Rajasthan, including Jaipur, where they'll be administered at more than 70 centres.

Jaipur Health Department releases new guidelines for vax drives with on-spot registrations

In a bid to promote better management of vaccination drives in Jaipur, the Health Department has issued directives to allow on-spot registration for the inoculation program. It has been ordered that if individuals with prior online registrations fail to arrive at the vaccination site, then the doses will be given to the beneficiaries through on-spot registrations. Besides extending the scope of inoculation, this measure shall also prevent vaccine wastage.
